What Are ITMs?

At Bank Plus, we're excited to introduce our latest innovation: Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs). These cutting-edge devices combine the convenience of traditional ATMs with the personalized touch of face-to-face interactions. Let's dive into what makes ITMs different from ATMs and how they enhance your banking experience.


ITMs vs. ATMs: What Sets Them Apart?

 

1. Personal Interaction

ITMs provide a personal touch: When you use an ITM, you'll be connected with a live teller via video conferencing. It's like having a face-to-face conversation as you conduct your transaction.

ATMs, on the other hand: are self-service machines that offer basic functions such as cash withdrawals, balance inquiries, and check deposits. They don't involve direct interaction with a teller.

 

2. Expanded Transaction Options

ITMs allow more transactions: Beyond basic ATM functions, ITMs let you perform a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Deposits
  • Withdrawals
  • Account transfers
  • Loan payments
  • And more!


3. ITMs Are Not Employee Replacements

 

ITMs complement our staff: They're an extension of our people, not a replacement. A live teller operates the ITM from the other end, ready to assist you throughout your transaction.

Using the ITM: A Simple Guide


  1. Touch the “Talk To A Live Teller” Button: When you approach an ITM, simply touch the “Talk To A Live Teller” button on the screen.
  2. Connect with a Teller: A Direct Teller will appear on the screen to assist you. Whether it's your first time using the ITM or you're a seasoned user, they'll guide you through the process.
  3. Perform Your Transaction: From deposits to loan payments, follow the prompts on the screen to complete your transaction seamlessly.


ITM Availability Hours

 

Monday through Friday: ITMs are available from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.


Additional Questions Answered

 

1. Cashier’s Check:

    For these services, please visit us inside the branch, and our staff will take care of your transactions.

2. Coin Deposits and Dispensing:

     While you cannot deposit coins into the ITM, we can dispense pennies, nickels, and quarters.

3. Tellers in the Bank:

    Yes! The ITM channel is an extended service of the branch. You'll still find our current employees in place, ready to assist you.

4. Transaction Posting Time:

    No worries! Transactions through the ITM channel will post exactly like your front-line teller transactions.

  • Adjustable Speaker Volume: Control the volume to ensure privacy.
  • Use Your Earbuds or Headset: Plug in your own earbuds or headset for discreet communication.
  • Chat Feature: Type messages directly on the screen.
  • Written Messages: Scan a written note for the teller to read.
