Estherville’s Holly Johnson Named to ICBA Independent Banker’s Annual 40 Under 40: Community Bank Leaders List
Estherville, Iowa. — Independent Banker magazine, the award-winning monthly publication of the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA), has named Holly Johnson, CFO at Bank Plus to its 40 Under 40: Community Bank Leaders list. The annual award recognizes emerging leaders helping shape the future of community banking through innovation, leadership and service.

The feature story in the June/July issue of Independent Banker recognizes honorees who have helped level up banks’ technological capabilities, advocate for the people they work with and serve, and educate and support members of their community. Candidates were judged on character, leadership, community involvement, and innovation. FIS, a global leader in financial services technology, sponsored this year’s program.

Holly Johnson plays a key leadership role at Bank Plus, overseeing operations, compliance, and strategic initiatives that strengthen the bank’s performance and customer experience. She began her career with Bank Plus in 2019 and has advanced through several roles as the bank adapted to evolving needs and opportunities, ultimately serving as Chief Financial Officer. Throughout her tenure, she has focused on strengthening operations and enhancing the bank's connections with its customers and community, improving internal processes while building greater awareness and trust in the bank’s presence.
